Hello, I’m Sara. I’m a psychotherapist and somatic practitioner, offering therapy in Wigan and online across the UK and internationally. At the heart of my work is creating a space where you don’t have to hold everything together on your own. A space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to explore what’s really going on—at your own pace.
How I Work
My approach brings together psychotherapy and somatic (body-based) therapy.This means we work not only with your thoughts and experiences, but also with how those experiences are held in the body and nervous system.I’m less interested in offering quick solutions, and more interested in helping you understand what’s happening at a deeper level—so that change can feel meaningful and lasting.

work together ...

People often come to therapy unsure where to begin. You don’t need to arrive with everything clearly defined. We start wherever you are. Sessions are collaborative, steady, and led by what feels most important in the moment. Some sessions may feel reflective and spacious. Others may move closer to something more emotionally present. We work at a pace that feels safe, while still allowing for movement and change over time.
A little more about me ...
My work is shaped by a belief that much of what feels difficult in the present has developed for a reason. Rather than trying to “fix” or push things away, we take time to understand them. I have a particular interest in how early relational experiences and the nervous system shape the way we connect—with ourselves and with others.
Alongside my clinical work, I engage in ongoing training, supervision, and reflective practice.
